Shannon O’Brien, ACS, HIA, MHP
Shannon O’Brien, owner of SWOB Group Benefits Inc., has been a licensed insurance agent since 1996. Shannon has completed his ACS designation through the Life Office Management Association Inc., and his Managed Healthcare Professional and Health Insurance Associate designations with the Health Insurance Association of America. He worked as a Senior Account Manager with a major Canadian Insurance Company out of Toronto, ON for 10 years, prior to his relocation to Winnipeg in 2005. Shannon currently serves as President of The Irish Association of Manitoba, Basketball coach for the Grade 9 St. Mary’s Academy basketball team and as an advisor to the Manitoba Catholic Schools Group Services Inc. Pension and Benefit Advisory Committee.
Wilma O’Brien
Wilma O’Brien is a Group Insurance Underwriter with over 10 years of experience working for a major Canadian Insurance Company out of Toronto, ON. She is a valuable asset to our team at SWOB Group Benefits Inc. and has been since inception. Wilma has completed her Health Insurance of America part A and part B along with a Life Skills course where she graduated with a distinction. Wilma has also completed her IFSE – Canadian Investment Funds Course in 2006 and has 3 years experience working in a Financial Planning environment. She is the General Manager for Tara Players Theatre Company at the Irish Association of Manitoba and continues to volunteer at a Seniors Retirement home in Winnipeg, which she loves.
